Overview
MMSteel needed a website to not only promote their brand and product but educate their guests about the importance and advantage of Steel roofing and Siding.
The goal of the site was to keep it simple and easy to navigate for newcomers, this resulted in making the option to "Get A Quote" easy to find and easy to use.
Design Process
When designing the site the biggest problem to solve was distinguishing Steel Projects and Steel Products. MMSteel wanted their products to be easily accessible and they wanted their guest to know the various projects they could use Steel for. With both being high up in the page heirarchy the solution became using icons for the projects sections and then using scene imagery for the products to highlight their unique characteristics.
To further this on the project pages, there would be a section explaining to the user which of MMSteel's products would work best for that project type and this section would act as a link to the product pages to promote sales for the products.
